What We Do

Our Vision ...

SportLink’s vision is to establish Sudbury has a premier sporting destination for events and athletes, while developing a strong local sport community with the capacity to serve the City of Greater Sudbury.

Our Mission ...

It is SportLink’s mission to utilize sport as a means for economic and community development by advocating communication and cooperation within our community, facilitating events, leadership and educational opportunities.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Promote Sport in the City of Greater Sudbury
  • Improve Communication and Cooperation
  • Provide a unified voice for the development and utilization of facilities
  • Create Economic Development Opportunities
  • Provide Information on funding for Sport Organizations and Events
  • Provide Opportunities for specialized Training Common to All Sports, Volunteers and Others

‘‘A community project focused on social and financial accessibility to the programs of the Sudbury Rowing Club, Sudbury Canoe Club and Sudbury Dragon Boat Festival. The dream is finally becoming reality, we need to raise the balance of money needed to build the Centre and it will be a $500,000 sprint to the finish.
