Sudbury Ringette Association

  The Sudbury Ringette Association is believed to be the first official ringette association, anywhere, initially created in 1954. These days, the SRA welcomes participants as young as four years old, right up to the adult ranks, with programming that includes “Learn to Skate” sessions, all for a very low-cost registration fee. With seasons that run from September through until April, the Sudbury Ringette Association will ice teams that compete both at the houseleague/recreation level, as well as with the more competitive ranks under the jurisdiction of Ringette Ontario. With interlocking play in Greater Sudbury that features opponents from Walden as well as Valley East, players within the SRA will take to the ice at virtually every rink in the region.
