Sudburnia Soccer

Created in 1980, Sudburnia Soccer represented the combined efforts of people like Marinus Logtenburg, Ricardo de la Riva, Greg Zorbas, Bob Morris, Barb Lumley, Julio Navarro, and Heinz Wagemann, organizing a recreational youth soccer league in which boys and girls could kick around a ball, simply for the fun of it.

Bob Segsworth and Bob Campbell were among those who joined in, helping Sudburnia survive those early years, with a full executive in place for the first time in many years in 1986. These people are but some of the folks who provide the inspiration, helping to shape and guide those who continue to volunteer and maintain the Sudburnia Soccer Club tradition.
