Founded in the early 1990’s, the Sudbury Girls Hockey League (amended to the Sudbury & District Girls Hockey Association in 2011) was initially home to less than 100 young female hockey players.
Today, the association includes approximately 600 athletes, offering teams in both house league (recreational) and competitive/rep (Lady Wolves) levels, and ranging in age from the initiation programs, right through to the intermediate (U21) division.
