The Sudbury Squash League typically operates at the Sudbury YMCA, with games played every Tuesday night, starting in late October and running until early April. Games are played between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., and a YMCA membership is not required to participate in league (though the league fee is higher for non-members to cover entry into the facility on league nights).
There are eight teams in the league (subject to sufficient registration), and each team has six players. Level 1 players are the most advanced, level 7 players are new to the game. If you are unsure of your level, let the organizers know when you fill out your registration and a test match can be arranged to assess your skill level.
On each league night, your team will play an encounter against one other team. This means you will play one match at your level to earn points for your team. The team with the most points wins the encounter. Statistics are kept to determine the League Champion at the end of the season. We will be using three courts at the YMCA, so all eight teams play every Tuesday.
