Valley East Minor Hockey Association

The Valley East Minor Hockey Association oversees recreational/houseleague hockey for the former town of Valley East.

Programming starts as young as age four, with TimBits, Jr Tykes, and runs right through to the Midget division, all under the guidelines of Hockey Canada.

The majority of practices and games are hosted at either Ray Plourde Arena (Val Caron), Centennial Arena (Hanmer), or the double ice-pad at the Capreol Arena.

While the VEMHA accomodates the majority of the younger divisions in-house, teams that compete in peewee and above will typically play in the Northeast House League, which includes teams from right across the entire region of Greater Sudbury.
