Walden Youth Basketball League is a not-for-profit local sports organization that stresses basketball skill development, allowing children aged six to 14 to learn in a fun environment.
Typically home to 12 teams in divisions ranging from U9 to U14, the WYBL will celebrating 25 years of offering youth basketball enjoyment in Lively and area in 2021-2022.
The league, which runs from September through to March, has allowed for the advancement of many local officials, and remains thankful for the countless coaches who volunteer their time to assist with our mission.
Current cost of registration is $110/year, which includes a uniform, tickets to a Sudbury Five game, year-end tournament, party and gifts. Games are played every Wednesday during the season, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at both St James Catholic School, as well as Lively District Secondary School.
